Columbus, Ohio – September 21, 2015 – For the eighth consecutive year, Kimball Midwest has ranked among the world’s top distributors on the prestigious 2015 Industrial Distribution Big 50.
This annual list was published in the September/October issue of the Industrial Distribution magazine and is a lineup of worldwide distributors with rankings based on company sales for 2014. This year, Kimball Midwest came at the #43 on the countdown, highlighted by growth over 2013 sales and expansions in distribution.
During the year, Kimball Midwest welcomed a fourth, “green” distribution center and office in Savannah, GA and expanded their headquarters in Columbus, OH. These additions have given the company the ability to provide next-day delivery and superior-quality service to customers in the contiguous United States, as well as creating numerous jobs in the community. With the new distribution center, the company provides 80% of their customers with next-day delivery.
