September 29, 2023 – Kimball Midwest has matched its highest ranking ever on a leading annual list of American industrial distributors.
This week, the company came in at No. 30 on Industrial Distribution’s Big 50, unchanged from 2022. In the video announcing the rankings, Executive Editor Anna Wells highlighted Kimball Midwest’s 25 percent growth during the year.
Kimball Midwest President Patrick McCurdy III was featured during the video announcing this year’s list. He discussed the company’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic; the opening of its fifth distribution center in Newtown, Connecticut; and the festivities around the company’s centennial.
“There’s not a lot of companies that have the opportunity to get to 100 years, so we’ve really tried to take the time to celebrate that, to recognize the people that made that possible,” he said in the video.
Kimball Midwest primarily serves its customers through a network of sales representatives across the continental United States. In the last year, Kimball Midwest has been honored among Selling Power magazine’s 50 Best Companies to Sell For and received the Training APEX Award from Training magazine.
