Kimball Midwest Ranked Among Leading Industrial Suppliers

Columbus, Ohio – September 3, 2019 – Kimball Midwest, a national industrial supplier based in Columbus, was ranked for the 10th consecutive year on a leading list of the United States’ largest industrial suppliers.
Kimball Midwest is No. 40 on Modern Distribution Management’s 2019 list of Top Industrial Distributors. The ranking is unchanged from 2018.

“Our world-class sales force works with our support staff every day to deliver exceptional products and services to thousands of customers spread across the United States,” said Patrick McCurdy III, the company’s vice president of sales. “Our people’s ability to partner with our customers on site, consistently providing the Kimball Midwest experience, is what drives our continuous growth and improvement that keeps us on lists like MDM’s.”

Kimball Midwest also was included in MDM’s list of 16 leading fastener distributors. That list was not ranked because of the fragmented nature of the fastener market and a lack of category-specific data.

The company’s appearance on the fastener list comes after its July launch of the KM-USA High Head Grade 8 Cap Screw line, which offers a 20% higher head and a proprietary head marking for complete traceability back to the American-made steel.
“We’ve been very pleased with customer response to the new KM-USA line,” McCurdy said. “We worked hard for several years to develop this exceptional product made to our specifications that provides even more key features and benefits customers are looking for in a Grade 8 fastening system.”
