Columbus, Ohio – October 15, 2020 – Kimball Midwest has opened a larger distribution center in the Dallas area to serve customers in nine states.
After more than a year of preparation, Kimball Midwest relocated its Dallas Distribution Center and shipped its first order Tuesday, October 13. The 125,000-square-foot location is at 1501 E. Bardin Road; Arlington, TX 76018. That’s about 10 miles from the former location in Grand Prairie.
The company opened its first Dallas Distribution Center in 1994. It was Kimball Midwest’s first distribution center outside Columbus. The Dallas center moved to a larger location in 2001 and then expanded in 2008.
“We’re excited to realize the completion of this beautiful distribution center in Arlington to support our growth, our customers and the best sales team in the industry,” Chief Operating Officer Dave McCurdy said. “One of our core values is to always be green and growing, and this opening is just the latest example of that.”
