February 17, 2026 – Kimball Midwest President Patrick McCurdy III joined industry peers recently on the main stage at Executive Summit ’26 in Washington, D.C., hosted by the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW).

McCurdy participated in the panel “Lessons in Legacy: Honoring the Past to Strengthen the Future,” where leaders from long‑standing distribution organizations explored how multigenerational values shape strategy in a rapidly evolving industry. The discussion emphasized the role of institutional memory in making confident decisions during periods of growth and change.

“Our history isn’t something we simply look back on — it’s a foundation we build on every day,” McCurdy said. “By honoring the values and behaviors that brought us here, we’re better equipped to innovate, grow and continue delivering exceptional value for our customers and associates for generations to come.”

The summit is recognized as the premier strategy event in the American wholesale distribution industry, bringing together top executives from across the country and across all distribution sectors. Attendees heard from national political, academic, technology and industry experts, gaining insights to help sharpen strategy and strengthen organizational differentiation.
