Columbus, Ohio – July 8, 2020 – Kimball Midwest recently made its fourth straight appearance on a notable annual list produced by Selling Power magazine.
Kimball Midwest is No. 27 on Selling Power’s 2020 ranking of the 50 Best Companies to Sell For. That’s up from No. 28 in 2019, No. 29 in 2018 and No. 32 in 2017, when the company made its first appearance.
“We’re delighted to be included again in Selling Power’s rankings,” said Patrick McCurdy III, Kimball Midwest’s vice president of sales. “Our team is working hard every day to continue to attract and develop a world-class sales team to meet the maintenance, repair and operations needs of our customers from coast to coast.”
Each year, the corporate research team at Selling Power assembles and publishes its list of the 50 Best Companies to Sell For. To gather data, the Selling Power research team issues a comprehensive application with detailed sections covering three broader categories:
1) Compensation and benefits
2) Hiring, sales training and sales enablement
3) Customer retention
Sections were also provided for companies to spotlight any other information about their sales organization and culture that would help the research team fine-tune the rankings.
The list encompasses companies of all sizes – with sales forces ranging from fewer than 100 salespeople to companies with sales-force numbers in the thousands.
Selling Power founder and publisher Gerhard Gschwandtner said the list is a critical tool for sales professionals to evaluate their options in an era of extreme change.
“Recent shakeups around the globe mean more top sales talent is available to hire, and potential candidates need tools to help weigh options and guide their career choices,” he said. “Each company on this list has created a winning sales culture in its own unique way, with the right tools in place to support a growth-oriented sales career over the long haul.”
