Columbus, Ohio – October 1, 2020 – Kimball Midwest recently was included on two of the most prominent annual lists of the largest industrial suppliers in the United States.
This week, the company came in at No. 35 on Industrial Distribution’s Big 50. That’s up one spot from 2019 and Kimball Midwest’s highest ranking ever.
Kimball Midwest President and CEO Pat McCurdy was featured during the video series announcing the rankings.
“We’ve always looked at this being a people business, rooted in relationships,” McCurdy said in the video. “When we look at it from a long-term perspective, we’ve always felt that if we support all our associates, they can do a better job serving our customers and each other. When you’re a family business … our choices are that we’re able to protect our people.
“That’s part of being family-owned and operated and living the vision, values and mission we have.”
Also, in a list released in late August, Kimball Midwest appeared at No. 40 on Modern Distribution Management’s 2020 ranking of top industrial distributors. The company also appeared on two secondary lists of the top distributors of MRO industrial products and fasteners.
